1. Payment Procedures
100% of the total cost must be paid before receiving services (or the required online deposit depending on the tour, paying the Remaining Balance at reception on tour day).
Electronic invoicing is generated upon receiving full payment.
Accepted on-site payment methods:
- Cash: US Dollars (USD) or Costa Rican Colones (CRC).
- Bank transfer: Any transfer fees are covered by the visitor or agency.
- Credit and debit cards: Charged in colones at the official exchange rate set by Banco Central de Costa Rica (BCCR).

2. Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellations must be notified in writing at least 48 hours in advance.
Available options in case of cancellation with advance notice (48h):
- 70% refund of the amount paid (30% is deducted for administrative costs and banking fees).
- 100% credit note, valid for 3 months. After this period, it will no longer be valid.
Same-day cancellations or no-shows forfeit any right to rescheduling or refund.
Refund requests must be sent to atencion@bogarintrail.com and will be processed following accounting verification. Processing times depend on financial institutions and may take up to 3 months.

3. Tour Modification and Rescheduling
- Tours require a minimum of 2 visitors to take place. If the minimum is not met, the tour may be rescheduled.
- If the visitor arrives late, rescheduling will be attempted based on daily availability.
- If Bogarin Trail cancels the tour for safety, weather, or force majeure reasons, a reschedule will be offered at no additional cost.
- Changes to confirmed reservations must be requested at least 48 hours in advance.
